I live in an appartment building and I have two window that meet in a corner. They are different widths and they are in a recessed area. I would like to install a curtain that would go across the two of them, and think that the way that hospital curtains are hung would work. The trouble is I don't know the name of the rod that hospital curtains use and I dont know where to buy it. Any suggestions? Thanks.

the track that is used in hospitals is often referred to as cubicle track.. A normal track has slides in that accept drapery pins, a hospital track has slides with a rotating stem + hook that attaches to holes in your curtain.. this allows the drape to curve and twist and the drape is never pleated..

what exactly are you going for? 2 drapes that when open sit at the sides of each window? do you want 2 panels on each window for a total of 4? Do you want 1 big drape that covers it fully as it turns a corner?
you may want to look in to an architectural track like you would find on a wand drawn drape in a hotel.. If you are looking for something that turns the corner then you will need to have a professional come out and bend the track for .. You can sometimes buy bends that you but up to 2 straight pieces of track but this rarely works smoothly..
If you can live with a track in a v shape you simply butt 2 tracks together.. You can use 1 big panel in the center that work as a right and left panel in your left and right window.. then flank the outsides with individual panels..

the site I linked is a knock of version of kirsh hardware made in china.. any design store can order this track for you..
or if you can find a hotel renovation near by there is a ton of this track in the dumpster..
