Im taking the boards off of my deck and upon removing the last couple of boards, i noticed this crack and burrow in the concrete foundation on the back of my house.
The back of the house is an addition, the kitchen, and the sides are cement block while the rear seems to be poured concrete foundation. There is open space, just a dirt floor underneath the addition.
It looks like something, a skunk or raccoon or similar has burrowed through the foundation, and is probably living underneath the addition.
Im kind of perplexed as to what i should do. Should i get pest control to come in and look? The top of the crack also happens to have a bee's nest (saw some fat bumblebees fly in and out of it)
The hole is slightly smaller than a human head. The angle of the photos give no indication as to the size.
as well, who would i contact as to repairing the crack in the foundation? There is another similar crack to the right.
thanks for any advice!
Alex

Photo does not show any fresh signs of entry or droppings. Sprinkle flour around opening and check in the morning, as most pests are nocturnal. If you can see some footprints in the flour, then it will aid in identification of the pest and determination if the opening is active.
