I recently obtained two old glass lamps. The lamp shades were trashed and the electric cords need to be trashed. So, basically, I have two very nice small glass lamp bases. Rather than replace the electric parts, I would like to outfit them to be solar powered. So I am looking for either instructions or, ideally, a kit. Any ideas?

It can be done but the light output will likely be so small as to be useless. How about making them into candle holders?
