My water heater is acting up. I have 1 yr old 50 gal GE powervent made by Rheem with flammable vapour sensor. LED light displayed 2 flashes followed by 3, called service dept and they shipped me new sensor with new control unit. After installation is doing 2 flashes followed by 1 (meaning flammable vapour present - I did check with the old sensor and ohmmeter - there is no vapours). I would appreciate any suggestions, I read somewhere that I should as well replaced igniter, is that true?
Thanks for help.
