I have a fiberglass front door. On the advice of my Benji Moore salesman, I primed it with BM Exterior primer and followed up with BM exterior latex paint. The finish however, came out rough and kind of "splotchy". I did another coat of paint and it still is a rough and inconsistent finish. Any ideas on how I can fix this? Should I strip all the paint off and start over??? If I strip it, what should I use? Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks, Mark

Did you sand lightly between coats?

Was the door in the hot sun while you were painting? - dried too fast.

Could you further describe the 'splotchy' ? or supply a pic?
