Hello All,
I'm selling my home and just had a recent home inspection. The inspector writes on the report- "120 degrees missing inner cover- possible backdrafting at lower level burner- Have checked by a plumer."
The water heater is a Rheem Gas water heater. The model number is 41V (and can't remember the last two digits).
Help????
Thanks!

That missing cover is a serious fire hazard...so do try to find one. You might just ask around and see if an old plumber has one kicking around the back of his truck.

A good sheet metal shop with a quick look and a few measurements could probably bend up a suitable replacement

Go to your local plumbing supply house. They may take one off a returned water heater if you ask nicely (if they have one).
