I have read through many posts. I know where to go to determine the age of my motor, if I had a model/serial number. I have neither? The plate has been removed/lost, and the only number I can find is stamped near the carry handle. This number is 309738-2, and it must be a p/n for the handle. The motor last ran 3 years ago, and then it was garaged. It seems to be leak free (oil wise)? The gas line has been broken/cut between the pump and carb. If I could find the year, and obtain a maintenance manual, I know the motor can be given new life. Any suggestions to help correctly id this motor would be greatly appreciated!
