I have read many threads on use a plastic sheeting over concrete as a moisture barrier before installing laminate but would it not be possible to use a product such as Drylok to apply to the concrete and eliminate the plastic?

I would trust a 6 mil poly over Drylok. Not saying Drylok is a bad product, just that how do you know you have covered everything? Drylok produces alot of pin holes and has to be applied with two coats or more.

Alot easier to just use 6 mil poly.
