Could anyone advise me on how to repair a 2 inches crack on my Motox plastic fuel tank?Intend to do a plastic welding but need the tank material specification? Any advise?Thanks.

If it's an emergency, and you just need it for a day or two...
First - empty and dry it out.
I heat the area up with a hair dryer then smear the plastic around with a soldering iron. Work slowly and seal all the holes. Size of soldering iron depends on thickness of plastic. 100 watt should be good enough.
It will be brittle there, so don't trust it for too long. Get a new tank.
The best, and safest repair is to replace the tank.
