We have a 4 dogs and no landscaping in the backyard. (It's a rental) The yard is just sand. The odor from the urine is getting overwhelming and is even worse now that monsoon rains are keeping it damp. Does anyone have any ideas on what to do? We can't even enjoy the patio and I am afraid that it might start effecting the neighbors!

welcome to diy! Sand is some what absorbent. It sounds like it is just clumping up from the urine and such. I would suggest raking the sand trying to get some fresh stuff on top. But you may have to come up with one area that the dogs use that you can tarp and clean up a big easier. Kitty little or some other absorbent material may help since it would be easier to clean up and have some absorbent material.

Generously spread with garden lime and water in. Safe for pets.
