Have older wing back chair with retangular cushion. Can I alter a ready made newer "T" wingback slipcover to fit my wing chair?

Hi and welcome to the forum! Some things can be altered if you know how, but the only way to know for sure, is to put it on the chair and see if it's do-able. You may just be able to tuck the T part under without having to do anything else. I'm not familiar with your chair tho. If the arms extend all the way to the front, the slipcover may not fit well there, and you may not be able to use it or alter it. A pic would be helpful.
