I'm about to install 2000 sq. ft. of bamboo throughout my home in Houston, Texas. The house was built in 1965, I'm putting the floor on concrete, and moisture is a possible problem in this high humidity area of the country. I'd like to moisture-seal the concrete, get padding with a backing to additionally protect for moisture and install clic-loc, but my husband says we should use tongue and groove with a bead of glue in the grooves to protect from spilled water, etc. once the floor is in use. What is the best type of bamboo product and installation to avoid moisture problems, both from the underfloor and to protect it once it is installed and in use? Any advice or experience?

You need to take a moisture test to be sure of what you're dealing with. If the level is tooooo high, you can't install the flooring at all.

Once the planks are locked in together, it's very difficult for liquids to get in the seams.
