Replaced the motor on my lennox central air last year, still getting heavy vibrations from the unit. How difficult and how do you balance the blower wheel?

thank you

First you will need to clean the wheel and closely inspect the welds. Also closely inspect the mounting bracket to be sure it is seated correctly and bolts are tight. Most likely you just have some crud built up and it is out of balance but be sure to look at all welds once it is clean. If it has been running out of balance for a while it may have cracked welds. I have not had much luck with this balancing thing, especially since a replacement wheel is not usually all that expensive and you have to remove the old one to clean and inspect it anyway, you might just consider replacing the silly thing.
