Decorating and Design - Green curtains with Blue Walls???

Hello all:
This is my first visit to this site and I'm hoping to get some feedback on my decorating dilemna. About a year ago, I had custom roman shades installed in my master bedroom with a valance. The valance is cream coloured with a wide green stripe through it and the roman shade is green with cream coloured polka dots. Sounds tacky but they're really very nice. The green is a soft muted colour and our walls are currently a stronger colour green. My problem is that I have really fallen in love with blue painted walls but I can't justify getting rid of the window coverings. As I'm sure you know, custom window coverings are quite pricey so I'm not ready to get rid of them just yet. Is it acceptable to combine blue walls with green and cream striped window coverings? Keeping in mind that the green is a soft green (reminds me of a country bedroom type green). Thanks for any advice you can provide.

blue & green are nice together, but you'll have to pull the 2 colors together with something that has BOTH colors in it, like a bedcovering or rug or something. at the very least, you'll have to have, for example, a green bedspread with green & blue & cream throw pillows, or something like that. but better yet, would be to find something with a blue AND green AND cream pattern in it. then it will all make sense.
