We are replacing the old engineered wood floor in our kitchen with a new engineered floor. Its over a concrete slab. How much of the old glue should we have removed and how is the best way to remove it. I am paying to have the flooring installed . I am removing the old engineered floor myself and want to make sure the prep for the installation is done right. Should the installer be doing the prep or me? thanks for all your help in the matter.

Depends on what your contract says. Most companies will allot xx amount of time for floor prep. Call your installer and see what floor prep they do.
Get a floor scraper with an extra package of blades and scrape as much glue up as you can.
