hi,
I have a problem with my TV it's a Samsung txj 2767 nov 1999 model ,
I have a bright horizontal white line across the screen when I turn on the TV and it shuts off itself about 10-15 sec. later on .
please can anybody help me.

My guess is that it is either a couple of bad capacitors or the set is in a service mode. Your set probably shuts of due to a protective voltage setting. Unless you know how to fix this, I would suggest that you take it in to a repair shop.

It could also be due to bad (cold) solder joints and/or bad vertical IC. Read HotinOKC's Sticky Thread (http://forum.doityourself.com/showthread.php?t=309110) about TV safety. If you feel comfortable poking around in there and have some experience with soldering, post back.
