A little teaser: I have bought a house with quite unpleasant structured wallpaper, and to make matters worse on all the exterior walls it has been mounted on 1.5cm thick soft fiberboards (themselves mounted on battens). As far as I can see it will be impossible to separate wallpaper and fiberboards without leaving a very ugly finish.Any ideas out there on if I can paper over the existing paper and boards ? Obviously I don't want to begin to remove the fiberboards (although I would love to) as I will be down to the bare brick, and then have to plaster the walls:wall: :wall:
