Can anyone tell me how to remove the clutch assembly? I have to get to the pull cord line rewinder or maybe i am going about it the wrong way. Any help is appreciated. thank you

There should be a screw down inside the clutch drum nose--
after you remove the screw--the drum will have to be ( usually ) forced off--take your time--don't damage it............

I think the screw jhoward is referring to is a T20 torx and before you destroy something remove the spark plug and fill the cylinder with starter cord or small rope to keep the engine from turning. Have a good one. Geo

Thanks for the info but i have removed the clutch drum screw and drum but i don,t want to break anything because the clutch assembly will not come off easily. Any ideas?
