Is therer any code restrictions regarding the height an A/C disconnect box ? ( condensing unit is sitting on a slab in back yard one foot from wall of house ) How how or low heightcan I install the disconnect box on the wall? Thanx

The first thing I noticed in your question is the condensing unit is only a foot off the wall. Most manufacturers specify at least 18". You need to check the manual.
As far as I know, there is no specified height off the ground for the disconnect but it should be above the snow line if snow is a concern in your area.

Check with your local code enforcers. It's different in every town. I had inspectors in some towns break out the tape measure and make me move them a 1/2", but for the most parts inspectors don't seem to care as long as they are a reasonable height off the ground so water, rodents, etc., can't get to it.

There also has to be a recepticle within 20(?) feet.
