i just purchased six majesty palms from home depot. they're about 5 to 6 feet in highth. i live in the desert--today it's about 106 degrees.
can i repot these in containers or do i have to pot them in the ground???
i'd planned to put them in large containers in the back yard pool area-----will this work???
they are not root bound yet----can they stay in their containers long?
i hope i didn't buy the wrong palm-------as i say i want container palms not ground palms.
HELP

You sure can keep them in pots, depending on roots you may want to go up a size. Keep an eye on them and repot as roots grow. Of course keep watered...

Hi Kathywd,

Majesty palms can be very fussy, so I recommend you read this site thoroughly.

This site lists palms for Arizona. Majesty palm aka Ravenea is not listed. :(
