I took carpet up and there is perfect linoleum underneath ( I don't happen to like it but it looks brand new) so I know I can lay the cork over this but there is a carpet pad down also and before I take it up I was just wondering why I can't put the cork over this. It seems like it would give it lots more cushion and it is in perfect shape also.
And solid and hard underneath.
Hope that isn't a dumb question but just give me the WHY!

Cork is floating, click together, glueless.

The carpet pad will have to much cushion allowing the planks of the cork floor to seperate and flex way to much. Remove the pad.
