I just bought a house whose garage is drywalled all around, and some of the tape on the ceiling is starting to peel. What's the best fix for this, short of removing old drywall & installing new?

Or is removing old & installing new the best fix? (The drywall appears to be in decent shape otherwise.)

Either way, I plan to paint the ceiling once this is fixed.

Don't replace the drywall, just cut out the loose tape and replace it.
