I have about an 18 yr old craftsman. After mowing for about 30 minutes, it starts to pop and then dies. I let it sit for a minute, then I can restart. Then it will run for a minute or 2 then die again. This will continue. Any ideas?

That's characteristic of an ignition module problem. When it dies pull the plug wire and check for spark. If none then but it starts in two minutes or so = ignition module.

If the spark is good all the time, look at fuel flow to the carburetor, gas cap, or fuel filter.
