Hey,

So I have a heavy piece of art (about 80lb) that I want to hang from the ceiling. I want to hang it a few inches away from the point where the ceiling meets the wall. I doubt there is a stud or joist there. Would simply placing two molly bolts equally apart be sufficient to hold it?

80 lbs? I'd want to be in structure. Especially on a ceiling, I wouldn't trust an anchor.

I don't think there are molly bolts that would hold 80lbs :eek: Even if their were, I wouldn't trust it. I'm with mitch17, find the stud/joist.
