can anyone tell me how to make your own plaster to put on
newly hung drywall??
i have hung drywall and i have a very old home with uneven walls so im thinking of doing 1 layer of mudding and bedding only and then just plastering the walls so they wont show so many imperfections.
and can you add color to the plaster directly mixing in a 5 gal bucket.

I don't know about plaster and blue board is the type of drywall you are suppose to use to plaster over. Would a skim coat of joint compound do what you want?
