Hi,
I have same brand & type of yellow and light green paints. Individually I have no use for them. I want to mix them in different proportions to see what colors I come up with it.
Is it ok to mix these together? If these were different brands, would this be a problem?
Thanks for helping.

No problem with intermixing different paints [including different brands] providing they are the same type; oil with oil, latex with latex. You can even mix latex enamel with latex flat although you might not wind up with any sheen.
When ever you "custom" mix different paints it's important to make sure you have enough as it can be difficult to dupicate the same color, even more so if you intermix different sheens.
