My Question:
I am redoing our condo loby. The condo has 100 units on 10 floors. As you can imagine not everyone is excited about the upgrading, eventhough it has not been touched in 18 years!
I want to use durable lobby furniture, however I do not want it to look institutional or resemble a waitingroom.
Is there a difference in furniture brough off the showroom floor, or is there a type of furniture specifically for high traffic areas that are not institutional?
Thanks

Commercial furniture is available in traditional styles that will create the feeling of a livingroom in the lobby.

yes, there is a difference in durability between commercial & residential furniture. and you will notice a difference in price, too, although it's justified. the fabrics are more durable, also. and don't think commercial has to mean institutional or waiting room......think elegant hotel lobby.
