Have 04 F-250 super-duty w/ V-10. Have had issue with running pooly.Seems that its not running on all cylinders. Anybody had the same problem and/or how was this fixed. This truck has very low miles, only 42,000.

You dont have Ignition wires anymore, Instead you have 10 little ignition coils with "BOOTIES" that run down to the plugs....Any Moisture that accumulates in the plug Tubes will degrade the boots, and they will ARC, regardless of the low mileage..
Check engine light on???? This would likely set a 300 series code...300, 301, 302, etc....Corresponding to the affected cylinder or cylinders....
This would be especially true if you STEEM -CLEEN your engine..., Or hit it with a Garden hose on a regular basis.

Cool, I`ll check the mini coils and boots. Won`t do this til after the 8th. Thanks Unclediezel for the tip. Man hope that is it. No, to the steem clean and or any water in engine compartment. Maybe from road water if that. No Light on. Thanks again. Ill post back with the out come.
Have a great 4th of July week end.

Have you changed your fuel filter? If not, I would start there. Injectors are a possibility, they are electronic and if the ohms aren't within a specific range, they could miss. They could also be dirty/clogged. I've also seen catalytic converters cause sluggishness, but that would normally shoot a fault to the check engine soon light. Every now and then I ran Sea Foam through my system, Lucas injector cleaner is good too.

Well after seeing the Dealer and Ford getting in my nickers. The problem was #6 cylinder coil was bad. 43,000 mile and two coils. What a truck! What a company! Thanks for all your comments and suggestions. Well eight more coils and I wont have any worrys. Or maybe its just going to be the even number cylinders that go bad.
