Hello,
I'm adding a powder room under my stairs. The room is framed up and ready for drywall. The floor is ready for hardibacker so I can tile later. Which do I do first? Drywall down to the subfloor and then install hardibacker? Or do I install hardibacker and then drwall down to its level? Any advice would be most appreciated by this newbie.
Thanks!

Welcome to the forums Everett!
Usually the drywall is hung and finished before any work is done on the floor.

I know it's probably a small point, but I want to get it right. Many thanks for the advice.

It isn't all that of small point - it's easier to lay tile on clean cement board than have to either cover it up or clean it up from the drywall finishing. Sometimes it's the little things that make a job go smoother :D
