Hello All,

I am 95% complete on a hardwood floor install, but I have run into a slight dilemma. On a sliding closet door in one of my bedrooms there is a floor guide bracket. The closet is still carpeted so I am using a threshold. The issue that I am currently having is that the threshold is in the path of where the floor guide needs to be. My thought was to split the threshold and leave space for the floor guide in-between. I can't attach it to the trim as it is not wide enough. The only other option is to move the track forward/ or back 2 inches. The carpet was already cut prior to moving in as the original owner attempted a laminate install. So, what's the best way to fix this?
