we recently bought a house and the hardwood floor by the front door smells of dog urine, we are thinking of sanding and sealing it-its just a small area. would this work?

it would depend on the level of damage and time it has been there. It may be to the point it is underneath the hardwood floor, which would result in pulling it up. Also check the trim around the door and drywall..if its effected..just cut it out and replace it.
