:wall: Hubby has decided I am a cruel wife.. just coming up with things that make him hit his head against a wall.

We have an 70's style ranch house.. with the wonderful >not< textured ceilings.. the problem, some have started to peel.. sooo I said.. let's take the texture off.. he has done a wonderful job of doing so... here is where the help comes in....

Now that all the texture is down... there are some area's where he accidently gauged the ceiling board... we plan to retexture but NOT with the popcorn type stuff.... more swirls in plaster.... what do we have to do to finish this off... help.. please!!!!

Basically you just need to apply joint compound to those areas. If the paper is tore, it might be a good idea to prime them first with a solvent based primer - this will prevent the moisture in the j/c from bubbling up the surrounding paper.
