Is there something you can get to repair the real heavy black vinyl plastic?

There are pond patch kits available. Too, you can reline the pond. http://www.doityourself.com/icat/pondliner

I also have another question. It seems that every time it rains the pump stops, and my ground fault receptacles from where the power comes from for the pump kicks on yellow.then normally when i kick the recepticle off the pump starts running again. why is the pond pump kicking off every time it rains. it is well grounded and taped. i did bury the cable in the ground and it is plugged in outside the house of course. but it should be dry. any recommendations on why it is kicking off? the pump is always below water level. even though we havent yet got our leak fixed yet.
