I have ten-foot ceilings and would like some help on what to do with the huge, empty area above my 60inch TV and the ceiling. The 60inch TV sits on top of a 70inch wide, beautiful french provincial wood cabinet which contains all the electronic components for the TV. The width of the wall is 10 feet and the empty space above the TV is 3 feet.

I have considered using a huge wall clock above the TV, but this just seems so boring. Any ideas?

Thank you.

I prefer nothing above the TV. The TV is the focal point, and anything else appears to be distracting. To overcome the feeling of boring, you can paint that focal wall a different color than the other three walls in the room. Focal walls can be very bold or just 2-3 shades darker than other walls.
