Our Kenmore water softener started leaking recently after about 2 years of use. I tried new o-rings and all the tricks I could think of but the plastic must have a hairline crack. During this I must have damaged the electronics as the unit no longer works period. Rather than dump money and time into repairing it, I am ready to purchase a Fleck 5600 or 5600LE. The best price I found was with ohio pure water company. I've seen posting referring to the company but wanted to check and see if people were happy with them.

Also do folks like the Noryl or stainless steel bypass value better?
