I only have 1 television point downstairs in the loungeroom. I would like to install two more points upstairs (in bedroom and rumpus area).
Can I do this myself or does it need to be done by a electrician? If I can what do I need? is there a website that can give me some further instructions?

This is usually something a DIYer can do. It involves running new cables from the existing drop to the new drops and installing a splitter at the existing location. In your case it would be a 3-way splitter.
