You always want to hang the ceiling first, that way the drywall on the wall helps to hold the edge of the ceiling. Installing the drywall on the top half of the wall first lets you get it snug to the ceiling. If the bottom piece is a snug fit and gets a little damage at the bottom or if there is a gap at the bottom - it's all hid by the baseboard :cool:
