Hi: We have an outside piece of, lets call it statuary. Part of it was broken and repaired. I would like to "recoat" it without
losing the "cement/concrete' look. Any thoughts?

There are pigmented penetrating sealers for concrete that are sometimes used to preserve statuary. Check at your local paint store. The advantage of using a penetrating product is that it soaks into surface, and there is no surface finish, coating, or film to worry about deteriorating. You should not have to reseal for several years.

Surface prep is important. You will need to clean and degrease the concrete.
