I just got my EPA 608 certificate and bought a 30lb tank of r22. I also bought a set of manifold gauges.

How do I go about charging my units? I am only seeing a 14* split on very hot days.

If you had received EPA certification you should have enough knowledge to perform the task you ask about.
You should know that you must find and repair the leak before you add refrigerant.
In addition to certification you must own and or have available the necessary reclaim and leak checking equipment.

If you had read the sticky (http://forum.doityourself.com/showthread.php?t=315401) at the top of this forum topic you would see that we do not offer or support diy a/c recharging.
