I have a front load Kenmore that is not going into the spin cycle to drain the tub. I took off the pump and found a nickel in the suction to the pump. Took out the coin and fluhed out the pump in the sink. I reconnected the pump and associated piping but it still will not engage in the spin cycle.
Any ideas or suggestions before I buy a new pump?

Please give model # will start with a 110 or 417. Machines are different

I took the pump out one more time and removed the impeller housing. Jammed in there was a bobby pin.
Took out the pin and everything is fine. I should have checked to make sure the impeller was able to turn fully before I reinstalled it the first time.
