Having trouble getting below 75/76 degrees (it's 95 in NJ). Air flow does not seem to be as good as the heat was this winter. The air does not seem as cold as I would expect it to be from the vents.

Central AC unit outside, furnace in the basement - Forced hot air.

Changed filter in furnace recently

No filters in the returns

Guessing the unit is about 15 yrs old (new owner so I am not sure)

Should I be checking for leaks? Considering a new unit seeing as mine prob. was installed at the time of construction? Inquire about having the freeon level checked?

Thanks - Brian

75 is design temp! 95 outside sounds like it is working fine.
