Every so often my water softner goes on the fritz. During its regeneration cycle it kind of freezes and on the electronic panel it says Er 1 with a little phone. I read the manual and it doesn't say what the error is it just says to call the technician.
So when it does this if I unplug it for 10 min or so and then plug it back in it kind of resets itself. It used to do it when I put on the programmed regeneration and then I switched it to dip2 and it was fine for awhile again...now it is doing it again so just wondering if there was an easy fix to this. It will cost $80 just to have a Culligan man come to the house.
