hi i have a older a/c unit i replaced the fan motor about 5 years ago and have and had a problem until yesterday when the fan whould not spin it was just making a loud bizzing sound and moving very very slow so i shut it off and took off the the cover and then turned it back on and got it to spin by helping it start but after shuting off it just got stuck agine so i putted the motor today and found 2 plugs so i oiled it i used 3 in 1 and put motor back in and work for a little bit but then it just stop agine and seemed like there was no oil in it. what kind of oil should i use or does the motor just need to be replaced thank you for your help

There should be a capacitor that is supposed to be helping the motor with the spinning. Check the capacitor, maybe it has gone bad. You will need a digital meter to be able to test the capacitor.
If the capacitor proves o.k., replace the motor.
