Hello all, just trying to help out a friend that is out of town by mowing his yard. Problem i am having is his weedeater has a blade on it and i cant figure out how to lock the blade down so i can unscrew the nut that is on the end...so i can use the head that has the string on it. 'thanks for any help you can . Don

If you look closely at the very edge of the head above the blade and near the shield you should find a notch or hole that you can stick a punch or nail to stop the rotation of the head and allow the romoval of the blade.
