The trimmer head came off my UT20006.
Can't see how it fixes in place. The shaft is continuous
from the engine down. There's a bolt thru the lower end of the shaft for the guard attachment but it doesn't appear to have anything to do with holding the head in place. Part diagrams appear to show the head as a separate component. Anyone know how to fix the trim head in place?
Thanks!

Generally it's just a knob that screw onto the post coming out at the bottom of the shaft.

There are no external knobs/bolts or screws.
Everything must be internal to the shaft.
I found the parts manual at homelite.com
and still can't seem to find how the head unit
attaches. I think I may have to remove the shaft
unit and see if I can feed the internal flex shaft out
the end of the unit, then try to reattach the head.

I'm quite sure it isn't accessible from the flex cable end. If you see no threaded post at the end of the boom, I think something broke off.
