I have an edger that has sat for about two years which I cannot start. If I spray gasoline in the carb, it will run for about a second or two. Gas runs from the carb if I disconnect the hose. It is model number 536.797480. I emptied the gas and put it new gas.
Any help?

You need to clean the carb and rebuild with new float, needle, seat, and gaskets.

I don't know of any online instructions, but it should be fairly self-explanatory. There's not much to the carb. I'm not sure if this one has a float carb or diaphragm carb, if there's a bowl at the bottom of the carb, it's float style.
