Do these pose any harm? A condo I was working on the other day had these crawling all over the brick ledge outside the window, and I always think they might get on me and crawl up my clothes. I don't know if these bugs pose any risk, carry disease, or ?

I've been seeing them things around my house ever since I can remember and they've never bothered or bitten anyone or made anyone sick. I think it's just egg laying time and they're looking for food (not us tho :D )

Thanks for the response. So then, you are pretty sure nothing is transmitted by these little things, like tiny deer ticks (not wood ticks) transmit Lyme's disease?, or how mosquitos can transmit encephalitis or malaria, or anything?

I'm pretty sure. I've had a few crawling on me (they tickle) but as far as I know, they never bit or if they did, I haven't gotten sick from it.

Predatory Running Mite
Predatory mites feed on other mites, insect larvae, and eggs. They will also feed on pollen and can be found on plants.
There are other little red bugs, but this is the one I have always seen on the sides of buildings. They can find their way indoors, but I can't imagine they would survive for long and would die of starvation or get eaten by a spider lurking in a corner.
