Hello, can anyone give a source for oven schematics, wiring diagrams, and detailed technical information for repairing ovens? Not user manuals! I found one site that might have this information, but they require a $50 per year subscription, and is available only to full time service techs. I have already tried the manufacturer, and all they had was user manuals. I find that hard to believe. I am keeping this question non mfg. specific, because my next oven purchase will be from the company that I can get a service manual from, before I have problems. Thanks, Bill Dukes.

Most companies do not offer technical service manuals to customers. Service companies that are authorized to service the appliances have access to technical information about the appliances. Whirlpool, however has a website: http://www.servicematters.com that has access to some technical information about their appliances (error codes, some technical manuals, etc.)

You may not be buying a new oven. Service manuals come from the factory, given or sold to the service companies that do their warranty repair only.
