Hi,
I just rocked a bathroom. Been waiting a while for a drywall finisher to come and texture (and hide my hack job). In the meantime, I'm about to do a bunch of painting around the house.
I wanted to know if it's all right to prime my bare sheetrock before the guy comes to do the texturing finishing (taping, doing the corners, etc) on it.
Thanks for any information!

I rarely ever prime before texture but some do. The texture will still need to be primed after it's shot. Priming the wall prior to texture will cause the texture to dry a little slower [and dry at an even rate]

Okay. Sounds like I wouldn't really gain anything (actually spend time and primer) by spraying before the guy shows.
