We bought our home with the GE frig still in the home. I don't know it's age but it cannot be more than 5 yrs old. Ever since I can remember this frig has moaned sometimes very quiet and others it is loud. People describe it as the sound a ghost would make. Has anyone heard of this before? What should I do?

If it has the black conderser coils under or in back of the refrigerator, and there is a fan, check to make sure the fan is running, and there is not dust, and lint stopping the air flow to the compressor.
